Online Craps – Come And Play Craps

Online Craps

If you haven’t tried your luck playing online craps yet, you haven’t experienced the thrills awaiting you on the wonderful World Wide Web! In fact, today’s computer graphics are so amazing, we cannot over-emphasize just how realistic and riveting the gaming action really is. So much so, you may want to make certain you’re playing beneath a high enough ceiling; we wouldn’t want you banging your head on it when you leap out of your chair with glee. Perhaps the best part about playing online craps is that, depending on how you choose to place your bets, the game can be as simple or as complex as you wish. Craps is a table game in which numerous amounts of players play amongst eachother.

OK, Let’s Play Some Online Craps

Game play commences with players placing their bets on the various positions on the table. The most basic types of wagers include the Pass Line Bet, Don't Pass Line Bet, Come Bets, and Don't Come Bets. These are described in further detail below. The player tossing the dice is affectionately known as the ‘Shooter’ and the initial dice toss is referred to as the "Come Out Roll." For your convenience, we have outlined the four most basic bets you can place when playing online craps:

Pass Line Bet

A Pass Line Bet is an immediate winner whenever the Come Out Roll results in a 7 or 11. It is an instant loser, however, if the Come Out Roll winds up being a 2, 3, or 12. The other numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10, become the ‘point’ when they come up. If the shooter rolls the ‘point,’ they are required to continue tossing the dice until the number designated as the point - or a seven - appears. Should the ‘point’ come up prior to a 7, all of the Pass Line Bets win. In situations where the opposite occurs, all of the Pass Line Bets lose. Either way, nothing shall happen in an online craps game until one of these 2 numbers appear, so, theoretically, the gaming fun could go on indefinitely. This is just one of the many exciting aspects of playing online craps.

Don't Pass Line Bet

The Don't Pass Line Bet is the opposite of a Pass Line Bet. The Don't Pass Line Bet wins when the Come Out Roll’s a 2 or 3. Alternatively, the online craps player loses on a 7 or 11 Come Out Roll. Whenever the come out roll is 12, the wager becomes a "push" - meaning the player’s money is returned to them. When a number other than 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 comes up, it becomes the point. A Don't Pass Line Bet wins when the shooter rolls a seven before rolling the point. The player loses when the opposite occurs. Also, Don't Pass Line bets can be removed or changed when the shooter is rolling for the second time.

Come Bet

Come bets are virtually identical to Pass Line bets, only they are placed at a later stage of the game. Once a point has been established by the come out roll, the online craps players place their Come Bets. Like a Pass Line bet, a Come Bet wins if the next roll by the shooter is 7 or 11, and the players loses if the next roll ‘s a 2, 3, or 12. Whenever a shooter's roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number then becomes the "Come Point." Come Bets win when the shooter rolls the Come Point before a 7 is rolled. They lose when the opposite happens. Also, Come Bets can not be removed or changed.

Don't Come Bet

Don't Come Bets are nearly identical to Don't Pass Line bets. Once again, the online craps player places this wager following the initial Come Out Roll. After the point’s been determined, a Don't Come Bet wins when the next roll by the shooter results in a 2 or 3, and loses with a 7 or 11. The round is a ‘push’ whenever the roll results in a 12. Should a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 be rolled, that number then becomes the Come Point. A Don't Come Bet wins whenever a shooter's subsequent roll produces a seven, and loses when the opposite occurs. Like Don't Pass Line bets, Don't Come bets may be removed or changed even after being placed. Naturally, there’s more to discover about online craps. But rest assured, you have enough knowledge thus far to set you well on your way to playing and winning at online craps. Best of luck to ya!
