When you play the European version of Online Roulette there are two differences that stand out when compared to the American version. The first makes a difference to the way the Roulette game is played while the second increases your options for Roulette betting.
The first and probably most obvious difference is the layout of the Roulette wheel. In European Roulette there is only one zero pocket, meaning 37 pockets in total. As with any casino, the layout of the remaining 36 numbers on the Roulette wheel differs to American Roulette.
Aside from the superficial differences, European Roulette in the Online Casino also offers some fantastic extra betting options based on traditional casino Roulette.
These five bets provide an exciting twist and are offered exclusively in European Roulette at Casino Tropez. Rather than traditional bets, which are selected on an individual basis or based on the layout of the Roulette table, these bets are based upon the positions of the numbers on the Roulette wheel. Each wager is made by selecting the chip amount and then clicking on one of the following bet types:
Voisins de zero – this bet takes in all numbers on the "Voisins" arc of the wheel: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, 25. You need nine chips of your selected value. The chips are placed as follows: one split bet on each of the numbers 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35, two chips on the triplet 0-2-3 and two chips on 25-29.
Tier – The Tier arc encompasses the numbers 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, 33.. You place six chips which are split in the following way: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36.
Orphans – In this instance, your wager is placed on numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, 9 – known as the Orphans arc on the Roulette wheel. Five chips of your chosen value are needed and they are placed in the following way: one straight on the number 1 and one split bet on each of the numbers 6/9, 14/17, 17/ 20, 31/34.
Number & neighbors – in this unique bet you choose one number and wager on that number and the four numbers closest to it (two to the left, two to the right). In essence, you are wagering on a string of five numbers (with your chosen number in the centre) therefore this bet requires you to play five chips.
Final bet – You bet on all of the numbers that have the same last number (eg "final 3" means a bet on the numbers 3, 13, 23, 33). Depending on your chosen number you either need use 3 chips (7-9) or 4 chips (0-6) to make this wager.
